2 days ago and Again??? Sir didnt i told you that you can share a link on your favourite sharing service provider???
Havent you ever heard of a MS Onedrive, Google drive, iCloud, Dropbox, etc… etc…
Unbelievable… are you from this century at least?
Don’t have.
No one has answers to my questions??
Your card is a FERMI 2.0 generation, GF119 (maybe also other GF11x) FERMI2 or GF10x FERMI also will work.
This is a user (RETIRED) tool and its his work, we cant answer for it.
Later revised builds of this tool are all based in his work.
Just a few GTX580 cards had in the past “Initial” UEFI support, such EVGA and the Mac cards, as Chinobino already told you.
Only later on, on the GTX 600 cards UEFI was introduced.
Theres a report of a user in this forum who had solder a bigger IC for vbios but didnt report any success, because most of the retail cards had a small IC for it (vbios After mods).
So your chances of success are very remote until now… maybe you can change this, its your call.
EDIT: If this is one of those “Chinese” fake cards, you can give up of it.
since you know that your vbios chip is a 1Mbit one (125KB size) it should be doable, but it made me wonder which uefi gop did u use.
Also you could make a google drive or dropbox account and share the link of the file you upload there here, maybe without the www. and the .com and maybe us could take a look on it.

Thank you !!
That was some useful information by some and now i can upload my bios finally.
I tried the GF10x and that killed the card.
I tried the GF119 and that killed the card.
No PC ever recognizes the card in Device Manager after doing those. Nothing is shown in the pcie slot.
What i need is to try a GF110 option but alas there isn’t one !??
Post the sticker/sku (a photo) of that EVGA card
Thank you but unfortunately that killed the card too
Does anyone have the “initial” EVGA UEFI for the GTX 580?
Well i asked you the correct SKU of that GPU because the ID in the bios 1585 (You shared) is not of that EVGA GTX 580 your showing now on that pcb foto, the label your showing is the standard for that board id only, it is needed the device/model ID label (015-P3-15xx-XX)

By the TPU database that vbios is Unverified and very different clocks, more like a Classified…
I initially asked this because i wanted to try to add an old GOP revision for the GF10x and older/correct vbios for the correctly identified EVGA GTX 580 sub-model…
The effort from Sylar78 is based on the 1580 original vbios for the standard EVGA GTX 580, witch means that my effort still could be the same, in results…and a non go on this issue.
@Johan
EDIT: Yes the original EVGA product label was taken off.
Its out of focus, is that 900-11261-0012 D, Bios 70.10.48.06.02?
“What else can i try?” … do you think your the first one to try this and ending up with the “real” picture that cant be done… i cant really point you any successful report of it.
I’m not sure i purchased this card second hand and that’s the bios it came with and that’s the only 2 stickers on it.
What else can i try?
I found this uncompressed efi file from a GTX 570. Being as they use the same chip i think this should work.
Does anyone know how to compress and merge it into my bios file properly?
GTX570.zip (102.6 KB)
Not valid for insertion. Guidance on 1rst post of this thread.
Answer my post edit and confirm data. I have some mod files to try with a correct EFI driver but i need that you confim that labels in order to test original EVGA rom first, then proceeding to mod files.
I’ve hex edited some device and vendor IDs inside UEFI GOP part. Try this new one bios please.
GF110U.zip (103.7 KB)
Its 699-11261-0012-000 and 70.10.49.00.82
And unfortunately Sylar76 that last file didn’t work either
So far adding any kind of UEFI to my file makes the card not detectable in Device Manager. I think the trick here will be to use that GTX 570 EFI chunk which is known to work.
TEST.ZIP (81.1 KB)
Try this new one please. If it does not work, you could try also Test2 and Test3 (the last one has the latest GF1xx GOP Uefi).
TEST2.ZIP (81.1 KB)
TEST3.ZIP (80.7 KB)
Test all of them if you can and report feedback please.
Thank you I tested all 3 files and unfortunately none of them work either. No detection by Device Manager.
I still believe the ‘answer’ is in the GTX570 EFI file i found. It needs to be EFI compressed and added to my GTX580 rom file.
I can compress it and allow you to test it but I’m pretty sure it won’t work as you would exceed the maximum size allowed for your VGA eeprom. Try the attached file below.
GF110.zip (126.7 KB)
