[Help] Can’t Find AmiTpm20PlatformPei in UEFITool 0.28 — Only Visible in NE
Hi,
I dumped my BIOS (Gigabyte B650M DS3H r1.2, AMD-based) using AFUWINx64.EXE backup.rom /O
. When I load it into UEFITool 0.28.0, I can’t find the module:
0D8039FF-49E9-4CC9-A806-BB7C31B0BCB0 – AmiTpm20PlatformPei
However, it shows up in UEFITool NE, but that version doesn’t support image editing.
Is there any way to extract/edit this module properly on AMD boards, or convert the NE-parsed image for use in 0.28.0?
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the Win-Raid Forum!
Which specific BIOS file did you open with the UEFITool, but couldn’t find the PEI module you are searching for? Please attach it or give us a link.

Attached is the module named AmiTpm20PlatformPei, which I extracted “as is” and just the “body” of it from your linked f9 file by using the UEFITool_NE_A70_win64, but I don’t know whether it will be usable for you.
Anyway I wish you good luck!
AmiTpm20PlatformPei.rar (23.0 KB)
AmiTpm20PlatformPei_body.rar (23.0 KB)
By the way - this is what I got after having opened the file with the UEFITool 0.28 and trying to let the tool search for “Tpm20”:
Yeah, the same thing is happening to me. I’m trying to modify the AmiTpm20PlatformPei
TE image, insert it back, export the whole image, and flash the modded BIOS.
So, how can I do that? If I extract the PE image using UEFITool NE version, how can I insert it back without breaking anything?
