The problem is, After I installed the hd 7870 driver, it just ran 70-80 percent the screen freezes, it doesn’t end until I have to force shutdown my laptop, sometimes the driver install runs 100 percent then the screen freeze again, shutdown power and restart just black screen, no signal from external monitor and screen laptop black screen
Will changing the internal graphics to auto solve my problem?
I’ve changed primary display to auto, now i try ddu driver hd 7870 then try re install driver egpu, Let’s see if it stays black screen or it solves the problem, I’ll let you know
Should I disable intel hd and nvidia from device manager?
if you change it to auto, nvidia gpu will automaticly disable
and intel hd should be no problem

So that mean optimus will disable?
After i set to auto my nvidia gone but my Microsoft basic display adapter ( hd 7870 ) gone too, when i check pcie port 4 It’s gone like inactive, my hd 7870 position is on port 4 pcie
did your egpu on?
you can try by disabling your pcie port in bios
try clean your egpu cable to your mPcie
which port should I disable?
Yeah i try powered egpu, psu, With the condition that the cable is connected, then I turn on the laptop, and the device manager is not detected by my egpu, it doesn’t even appear Microsoft basic display adapter ( hd 7870 )
Should I try hotplug, with wifi card, sleep then replace with my egpu pcie cable??
Man, Are you not using WhatsApp? This is my WhatsApp +6289606518783 I’m from Indonesia
I think now my intel hd and nvidia gone, 1 display left and I think it’s a 7870 . hd adapter
I think… damm boy, just check the HW device ID
EDIT: Ohhhhh… Miracles? On a machine and motherboard not ready to work with eGPU? Wrapped all in a package an put on the trash can.
We dont even know what kind/chinese pos of interface and adapter your using etc etc, really dont need to know also.
Why do people thinks that all can be done and fixed with mods and so on… get real.

Rev00, thats my hd7870
Now i try install driver for my egpu, let’s see it’s work or freeze again
Installing the egpu driver running 70 percent should Flicker for a while, but it’s just a blackscreen, then what should I do?
I think it’s just an incorrect setting, I’ve previously used the egpu using a 750ti and all worked fine for 2 years no problem
