The UBU tool is able to successfully update some Option ROM modules of a notebook BIOS, but it has not been designed for doing that. Furthermore there is no guarantee, that a notebook will accept the flashing of a modded BIOS at all.
Nevertheless you may flash the modded BIOS at own risk.
