Hello. Please help. I need an engineering BIOS for Asus G513RC 6050A3348206-MB-A01. With the ability to edit in the Advanced menu. Does not start after any editing
Better contact Asus engineering labs in this case…
hi,
you could try to modify the bios but it’s rlly hard. it’s better off asking asus as the moderator said.
to modify it,
you can try AFUWINx64.exe /O backup.rom but it’s sometimes blocked or
FPTW64.exe -bios -d bios.bin but it requires unlocked flash descriptor
or you could use a programmer like the CH341A
but the real problem is to find a bios like that, i looked but i don’t think there’s one.
i don’t think you could try to build one bc it’s rlly hard and there’s a lot of things that only asus can do.
try to contact them, maybe they can help.
Hi. I unlocked the Advanced menu using the programmer and amibcp, and it works (if necessary, I can send it to someone) but it does not allow you to adjust important parameters , for example , to reduce processor frequencies , after editing , the BIOS simply does not go through initialization . Boot guard protection against changes is enabled, or the digital signature does not allow me to do this. I don’t know how to get around it. My processor is defective, it only works at a low frequency.
Therefore, I turned to you, suddenly someone has already done this and there is already a modified bios with the protection removed.
If the processor is defective, how do you want to check if any mod with unlocked advanced features will behave accordingly, as a cpu in “normal” state?
Assuming this is a terrible text translation… you want what all users that bought a laptop for gaming instead of a desktop system… a “fix” for heat over heat over heat and the system throttles down.
PIPES…miles of PIPES
Brands want to sell, sell, sell… users, simply ignore laws of physics, electronics circuits physics.
Laptops are useful for working/mobility, that’s it, a gamming laptop will never have the life spam/performance of a desktop.
Repaste it, clean the ventilation and SELL IT, buy a desktop.
yes, maybe incorrect translation . I meant that my CPU is working but only at low frequencies (on a minimum power), so I wanted to reduce its frequencies
