I have a DH61WW_ motherboard that comes with traditional BIOS but also has some UEFI capability (I think as I saw in BIOS). I want to install Nvme SSD as a boot device. It has an empty PCI-e x16 slot (ver 3.0) and I have the adapter. Can you help me with the BIOS mod so I can install it with full Nvme support for booting?

Hi @davicho6969
You can do this, but you’ll need a hardware programmer to read, modify, and then reflash your board.
Intel mainboard .bio update files are special and to the best of my knowledge cannot be modified and then successfully flashed to the board with software.
See eg:
This thread is a good place to start: [PROBLEM] How to open/modify/flash an Intel mainboard BIOS?
Once you get a bios dump from your board the forum may be able to help you with the rest.
