Ihave an ASUS H170 Pro gaming, with I/5-6600.
I Have 2 ea 500 gb hds. set up raid 1, for data; and a 320 gb hd to run Windows 10. I also running16 gb ddr4/3000 ram. I downloaded the newer driver from ASUS. THIS NEW BOARD setup raid in bios. When it boots up, I see all of my sata drives, by the way, they are sata 3’s. My last board, I setup raid ouside of bios. When I go to device mgr, I see the Intel driver/storage/Intel storage, I see the driver 32/ IASTOR.SYS. Shouldnt this display 64/IASTOR.SYS? When I go to services and try to run RST, IT starts, and immediately quits.
Is this because the driver is 32 bit instead of 64 bit.
I select upgrade driver, and after it completes, I see the same driver. I THOUGHT 64 BIT HD DRIVER DISPLAYED 64 BIT, NOT 32. ANY HELP WI BE APPRECIATED. I am pretty sure I am running latest driver, and RST.EXE

Welcome at Win-RAID Forum!
I doubt, that your OS had installed any Inbtel RST driver with a wrong architecture (32/64bit).
Which OS with which architecture (32/64bit) are you running?
Which is your system drive (inside or outside the RAIUD array)?
Did you install .NET 3.5 Framework from within the Control Panel (Software > “add Windows Features”) before trying to install the Intel RST Software?
