@trhshred - No, you can’t hope it works that would be nice! What CPU and chipset is this? If AMD, then that explains why no ME, but if Intel and semi-modern it should have ME.
Which exact system and BIOS version are we talking here, I can check from my end sometimes.
@trshred @gloobox - check board over again, user here described 2pin jumper location
Optiplex 7010 and VPro/AMT/ME (10)
if you want only blackscreen, you can use this tool from Dell, as you can see on page 13, it works for 7010 :
http://downloads.dell.com/manuals/all-pr…guide_en-us.pdf
See page 76.
I just need to change the dell logo.could you help me to change it in the PowerEdge R730.thanks~~
@gloobox - send dump of BIOS, unless you already know how to flash HDR on this system?
I found this, but I thionk it’s only for the HDR/Flash process, not the actual BIOS on the board currently.

Could the bios dumped by fpt be OK?
I think i can flash the modded bios by the fpt.'cause it has ''bios lock" in the bios region
BIOS Lock can be removed, please send me the dump and I will get you more info on boot logo and BIOS lock.
@gloobox - This BIOS has a RSA1 signature in it, have you previously flashed any mod BIOS to the board? Maybe this only matters for the iDrac or PERC stuff?
BIOS Lock is disabled by default, so you can FPT Flash BIOS region, unless it’s locked in the FD (Doubtful, but you can dump FD and we can check >> FPTw.exe 0desc -d fd.bin)
BIOS Lock, VarStoreInfo (VarOffset/VarName): 0xE9, VarStore: 0x1, QuestionId: 0x1A1, Size: 1, Min: 0x0, Max 0x1, Step: 0x0 {05 91 FC 10 FD 10 A1 01 01 00 E9 00 10 10 00 01 00}
One Of Option: Disabled, Value (8 bit): 0x0 (default) {09 07 C1 10 30 00 00}
One Of Option: Enabled, Value (8 bit): 0x1 {09 07 C0 10 00 00 01}
Show me an image of the current background you want to remove
@Lost_N_BIOS As the others seem to have jumped ship i’d like to reask the same question: is there a way to replace or at least remove the big circle dell logo you mentioned in post #4? I already dumped my bios with ftpw: http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?fil…928638313912692
Dells BiOS .exe package is here: http://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER04185730M/1/O3020A15.exe
BUMP! How do you get the pictures from the GUID? I would like to learn how to do this.
