[Guide] How to Flash a Modded BIOS on a ASUS Z97 Motherboard

Hello everyone,

I am seeking a modded BIOS file for the ASUS Z97-K/USB3.1 motherboard with the following details:

  • Motherboard model: ASUS Z97-K/USB3.1
  • Current BIOS version: 0702 (looking to upgrade to a version with full NVMe support)
  • Motherboard serial number: MB-1234567890
  • Goal: Integrate the NVMe driver module (NvmExpressDxe) to enable M.2 NVMe boot support
  • BIOS chip type: GD25Q64BSIG (8-pin)
  • Flashing tool: CH341B Pro programmer

Please share a ready-to-flash .bin file that includes my board’s serial number and the NVMe module. Any help would be greatly appreciated—this upgrade is critical for my family’s livelihood.
Thank you!

Best regards,
HamidRouter

This model already support NVMe by default, at least since bios 0402, no need for mods but the pointed guide can help you how to install Windows OS.

Hi Fernando,

I hope you’re doing well.

I’m experiencing two issues with my Asus Z97K/USB3.1 motherboard (BIOS version 0702). First, the fans are running at 100% all the time, and I’m unable to adjust their speed. Second, my motherboard does not support NVMe out of the box, and I would like to have the BIOS modded to enable NVMe support.

The NVMe support is my primary concern at the moment. If you can mod the BIOS to add support for NVMe drives, that would be great. If possible, I would also appreciate any suggestions regarding the fan speed issue.

Thank you very much for your time, and please let me know if you need any additional information or files from my side.
