Hello everyone,
I have a Razer RZ09-0329 laptop running the latest official BIOS v1.06, which is the most recent version available on Razer’s website. I want to forcefully reflash the same BIOS to ensure everything is working exactly as intended by the manufacturer.
What I’ve tried so far:
- Official Updater
• Downloaded RazerUpdater_v1.1.1.2_DA750-BIOSv0106.exe from Razer’s website.
• As expected, it refused to flash since the current version is already 1.06. - Modifying torden.ini
• Extracted the updater and modified torden.ini, changing 1.06 to 1.07.
• The updater started the process but rebooted immediately without actually flashing anything. - AFUWIN Method
• Booted into a USB flash drive and attempted to flash the BIOS using AFUWINx64.EXE with /k /p /b /n flags.
• The process consistently stopped at NVRAM write attempt. - Different AFU Versions
• Tried multiple versions of AFUWINx64.EXE to use the /GAN flag, but none of them worked.
Looking for help
Does anyone know how to fully force-flash this RazerUpdater_v1.1.1.2_DA750-BIOSv0106.exe? There must be a way to do this, right?
Razer support was completely useless – they simply told me that no newer BIOS exists and that flashing the same version is not possible.
If anyone has experience with this or knows a workaround, I would really appreciate your help. I don’t have the necessary knowledge to bypass these restrictions on my own.
Thanks in advance!
