How to install Win XP without keyboard or mouse?

I know this sounds funny, but on a new motherboard, Arktek AK-61M el (with no PS2 ports), and a 2nd gen i3 chip i have a cloned hard drive from my broken machine running Win XP 32 bit embedded.
Entering the Bios to change the sata mode to IDE, the keyboard / Mouse works fine. Once windows has loaded it (obviously) identifies new hardware and installs the generic drivers. When it installs the “USB HOST” the USB ports die and nothing I plug into them works.

I have spoken to a few local “Experts” all of whom advise me to select the on-screen keyboard to fix the Problem!!! (with which mouse?).

Kind regards
I hope someone here has a solution for me.

You cannot get any OS properly installed without having access to a keyboard and/or a mouse.
My advice: Do a clean XP installation onto your new system. It may take more time, but this way your OS will get the best possible stability and performance.
