Does anyone have a backup of the bios for this motherboard they could send to me? IdeaCentre Gaming 5 17ACN7 - Type 90TQ
I updated the bios and it looked like it all went through perfectly but when it came time to reboot after it was complete, it was just a black screen and it will no longer boot. I can read the bios chip fine with a ch341a usb tool but I need a backup of a working bios to flash it with. If anyone could help me with one, I would be ever so grateful.

What’s wrong with the stock firmware? (And make a valid[!] backup / dump of your bricked firmware before writing something to the SPI!)
I did do a backup of the bricked firmware. I’m not sure what you mean of the stock firmware? On the Lenovo website there is only an executable file that contains the bios which apparently does not contain a complete bios file if you try to extract it from the executable.
I don’t know how the bios structure of the dump was (and which version it was). Lenovo update contains a 16MB file and it might or might not be a firmware with correct structure. The propietary firmware- parts are larger and far worse documented for AMD…
