Intel Chipset Device Software 10.1.1.45 & 10.1.2.86 is out.
Thanks for the info, but I will not publish these package and their extracted content, because there is nothing new inside.
All the latest INF files for the various Intel CPU systems are within the AIO packages, which I am offering within the start post.
By the way: The INF files of the v10.1.2.86 have already been released by Intel at 04/03/2017 and are much older than the INF files of the recently published Intel Chipset Device Software v10.1.17415.8036, which were written by Intel and digitally signed by Microsoft at 08/09/2017.
That is because this driver branch is pretty much only meant for the Xeon and HEDT chipsets X79/X99. It’s still two months newer than their previous driver 10.1.2.85.
The newest INF files for the Xeon CPUs and X79/X99 Chipsets are within the recently released Intel Chipset Device Utility v10.1.17415.803 resp. within the AIO packages, which I am offering within the start post.
Hello peeps! I’m putting together an updated windows 7 pro with sp1 x64 for my laptop and I want to ask a question about the intel chipset “driver” situation.
So, I’m using the simplix update pack to integrate important updates into the win7 iso(into the install.wim, to be precise), I’m also integrating stuff like .NET471 and the DirectX June2010 redistributable. So far the windows part of things is taken care of. After this, I’m integrating the usb3 driver for the intel 1E31 controller(found on this forum, thank you very much).
Next, I’d like to integrate the chipset driver(HM77 Panther Point). So, from what I can understand after reading the OP, the “driver”'s only purpose is to get rid of the annoying triangle in the device manager, right? And, is the mod+signed pure package enough for my needs(win7 on an HM77 PP chipset)?
Thank you in advance for any clarification!

Welcome to the Win-RAID Forum!
Right!
Yes.
Note: The OS may show the “driver” as being unsigned, because it was not able to prove during the OS installation, whether the signer Win-RAID CA is trustworthy or not, but this has no impact on the function of the “driver” and its device.

Hello i have 6950X on asus rampage V X99 who is the best chipset driver for my setup?thanks
@panosxidis :
Welcome to the Win-RAID Forum!
Please read the start post of this thread. As long as the Device Manager doesn’t show any yellow flagged “missing driver” devices, you don’t need to install any of the various “Intel Chipset Device Software” Sets.
By the way: None of the available packages do contain any real driver, but just simple text files. So there are only older or newer (please note the misleading dates), but no better or worse INF files available.

Yes. The INF files have been compiled by Intel at 09/21/2017.
WOW nice fernando its a newer this both 10.1.1.42 or 10.1.2.86 ? and last question
whats diffrence between 10.1.1.42 and 10.1.2.86? thanks a lot
The v10.1.1.xx (for “normal” Intel Chipsets from 6-Series up) and v10.1.2.xx series (for “Enterprise Edition” Chipsets like X99) were the versions of the “Intel Chipset Device Software”, before Intel unified them by releasing the new Chipset Device Software v10.1.17415.8036 Set in September 2017.

Any feedback is much appreciated.
If you should find any Intel chipset device, which is not supported by my original resp. modded “All-in-One packages”, please let me know it.

Hi, Fernando , can not download this ( yet ?) , maybe later working link ?
@Pete12 :
My latest mod+signed AIO package is now available as well.
You searched too early for it. I had to give all INF files (the older and the newest ones) a new digital signature.
