It seems that I can’t uninstall version 10 because of an error. Now installing/uninstalling version 9 gives me an error…
Try to do the following:
1. Install the driverpack v10 on top of the former one by running the setup.exe.
2. Reboot.
3. Uninstall the complete package v10 from within the Control Panel ("Add/remove Programs").

Before doing a clean reinstall, try to use an advanced uninstaller. I had many good uses with Revo Unistaller, but you might want to look at what it selects to delete. If you want to get your hands dirty, look at the logs the installer creates. I managed to solve a similar problem with RST drivers, by inspecting the log and providing the file it needed.

It seems people are reporting that 9.1 FW on 8-series doesn’t work well and locks the BCLK, so i Think it is best to put 9.0.x back for 8-series.
Also reduced the CPU FSB 100.0 MHz -> 99.9x MHz.

Meanwhile I have readded the previously offered and obviously proper working ME9 Firmware versions 9.0.31.1487. So the ME9 users can decide, if they want to flash the newest (buggy) version or the older one.
Thanks, I already tried, but it seems that Revo Uninstaller portable doesn’t find the package in installed application. Log? This sound interesting… Any info about it’s location? Thank you!
It should be in C:\Intel\Logs or C:\Users\Your_Name\Intel\Logs. But you should try to install version 9 or 10 again and uninstall with Revo; if you have errors at any step, check the logs from those folders.
An advice: move the logs you currently have there to a temp location, to start with a clean log. Read the logs when installing the package, also when uninstalling. You should look for all the small apps that get installed with the package and uninstall them all to have a successful repair.
I’m not sure what the issue is but I can’t seem to get the ME tool for version 7 to work.

Are you sure, that your mainboard has the ME7 firmware?
If not, please check it. Maybe >this< guide will help to find it out.
I am not sure, if it will solve your problem, but I recommend to run the METool from outside your personal folder.

hi i am new on here, i am having problems updating firmware hm67 chipset, i just need right software or advice how to, its mobile motherboard i tryed to update from dos mode comes up with errors ,if some is familiar with how to copy firmware and reflash it, please can you help me i spent hours trying this is bacuase i put brand new chipset in the motherboard but i need firmware programming,seems i have to build the bios up with copied firmware from orignal firmware from specific board which contains service tag and other information on top of me firmware,i would be grateful someone put me on right direction.

Additional questions:
1. What did the MEInfo tool show resp. which was the original ME Firmware version of your system?
2. Which Intel ME Firmware version did you try to flash?
3. What happened exactly? Did you just get an error message while trying to flash the Firmware or has the flashing been done, but ended with a corrupted/not usable Intel ME Firmware?

You have 7.x firmware, so you must use 7.x tools for best compatibility. Those errors are expected when running 8.x software on 7.x firmware. I have attached the tools 7.1.20.119 for 7.x firmware. But you should first update your ME firmware with version 7.1.60.1193 from the first page of this thread.
To test ME firmware, just run metest.bat from MEManuf folder.
I have a log, but I can’t understand anything… And no way to install newer version…

The installer of the full package installs more than just the Intel MEI (HECI) driver. After the installation you get an entry "Intel(R) Management Engine Components" within the "Add/remove Programs" list of the Control Panel.
I cannot give a general suggestion.
