@plutomaniac ,
After updating ME firmware for ASUS Prime Z390M-Plus motherboard do we have also to update Intel ME FITC Version which does currently remain v12.0.6.1120 ?
If it is unuseful I let like displayed on the screenshot.
If it is useful, how do that ?
Hi,
I have Windows 10. Thanks.
Intel CSME 11.8 Consumer PCH-H D,A Firmware v11.8.65.3572
I have a Z270 Asus Apex MB that has 11.8.60.3561_CON_H_D0_PRD_RGN.binā¦Would 11.8.65.3572_CON_H_DA_PRD_RGN.bin be the right file to upgrade toā¦I see a difference in the 3561 file it reads CON_H_D0_ where the 3572 has CON_H_DA .Whats the difference in D0 and DAā¦Just want to ask here first if its the right one before trying anything.
Even Station Drivers has not posted (1.5) 11.8.65.3572 firmware yet. Where do I get it then?
I would like to know that too
Hello everybody.
Can i safely update Intel ME firmware to v11.8.65.3572?

The old chipset naming scheme was D0, which is what Intel uses. It stands for Chipset Stepping D (3), Revision 0 (0) so 30. It is wrong though or misleading at best. The actual stepping for PCH-H 100-series is D1 (31 as you can see at MEInfo) and it does not account for the also supported PCH-H 200-series Stepping A. So the new one I use is DA = D,A which stands for SPT-H D and KBP/BSF-H A as you can see from MEA. They are the same.
@MonarchX
From what I hear the first post exists for a reason.
Thank you very much Sir.
Cheers
Flash Image Tool (FIT) is a tool, not something you can update. Read Section C of the OP.
Many Thanks plutomaniac, Yes, it does make sense, only Intel does update theirs tools.
hello guys my friend gave me his motherboard Asus Z87-A, i installed my cpu i5-4460, RX580 8gb nitro + , hdd 7200rpm toshiba, and psu, iām getting this error always i donāt know how to fix this, i tried windows 10 and now iām using windows 7 tried update latest bios 2103 from asus website, tried latests CHIPSET driver and also Intel ME driver, nothing works for meā¦ https://imgur.com/a/4ggVyRz here is a screenshot. also iām very noob here in software related things, i can only click steam icon and play counter-strike global offensive =d
This is a forum for more advanced users so you might need some outside help or googling. As for the actual issue, install the latest v11.7 MEI-Only drivers from Section A1 of the OP and check if the problem persists after a restart. If it does, download Intel ME System Tools v9.1 from Section C of the OP, open a command prompt as administrator, run MEInfo tool with parameter ā-fwstsā and show us the result here.
thank u for ur response iām getting this error still https://imgur.com/O4GgxO3 This device cannot start. (code 10)
also downloaded Intel ME System Tools v9.1 from Section C of the OP, https://imgur.com/EC06MJ3 i opened that with administrator MEInfoWin64
@plutomaniac I found this intel me drivers 11.7.0.1057 that are from 2018.
Can u investigate this?
I uploaded to wintrasfer because is 10mb.

@ jugeljke:
The ME firmware is corrupt. Repairing it is certainly a more difficult procedure as you need to have read/write access to its firmware. You can check by following [Guide] Unlock Intel Flash Descriptor Read/Write Access Permissions for SPI Servicing. Once you have read/write access, youāll need to dump its firmware via Flash Programming Tool command āfptw -d spi.binā and follow [Guide] Clean Dumped Intel Engine (CS)ME/(CS)TXE Regions with Data Initialization on that image. Then flash it back via āfptw -f outimage.binā followed by āfptw -gresetā.
@ boombastik:
Mmm yes. They seem to be from the Microsoft Update Catalog. The date is newer and they also include the Intel Capability Licensing Service components which are used for INTEL-SA-00086 mitigation. I think this kit installs the MEI driver and the iCLS which automates the āNotice for CSME v11 INTEL-SA-00086ā that Iāve placed at the OP.
@plutomaniac okey i canāt do this this is really hard for me to understand what am i doing ā¦ also i canāt change cpu clock settings in biosā¦ something is wrong with this motherboard canāt fix it.
