Which tool to use to make a dump on 13th gen raptor lake cpus ?
All of fptw versions i ve found here says platform unsupported or should i use FWUpdLcl64 -save command instead?

@myyouki1

FWUpdLcl64?

FWUpdLcl64.exe -save old.bin

FWUpdLcl64.rar (175.8 KB)

I ve made a dump that way, but ME Analyzer says ‘Error: Unsupported Intel Engine, Graphics and/or Independent firmware!’

Looks like that was a bad idea to update bios to latest version :frowning:

I want to unlock advanced bios options on my lenovo yoga pro 7 InsydeH20 bios to make my 990 pro tcg opal self encrypted nvme ssd work

Right now if i enable encryption on any of disk partitions , uefi for some reasons stops seeing all disk partitions(ESP and other partitions that are not included in --lockingrange ) and accordingly cannot boot the grub/os etc…
In uefi shell disk stays as : “Handle: 235 Media Type: Unknown”
At the same time from live cd esp partition is visible and can be sucсessfuly mounted without unlocking encrypted partitions

The error message is perfectly normal, as ME Analyzer no longer supports versions newer than 15 series. The problem you describe has nothing to do with the topic of this thread.

does this mean that nothing can be done with versions newer than 15? or are there any other tools?

I am new here on the forum, I would be grateful if you could tell me threads related to the problem I described

I absolutely do not know how to solve what you have described. I’m not even sure that it can be done at all. But I am almost certain that it has nothing to do with the MEI.

does mfit version 16.1.27.2236 exist in the wild yet?

16.1.25.2091 is within this thread somewhere, don’t know about later versions.

@MireVelli

This is what it looks like sorted by build date:

The most recent build is 16.1.25.2091, but it is already more than two years old. :frowning:

Is there a quick and easy way to read CSME 19 firmware/sub-firmware/plugin versions?

Usually I just use ME Analyzer on older ME, all this ME 19.0.0.1854 talk about performance improvements in January has me intrigued.

Checking a BIOS with UEFITool it is obviously easy to see the main ME version, how do you check the rest?
Looks like it’s possible to check the below 4 but I don’t feel this is the correct way.
PMC by checking “PMCP.man”
PCHC by checking “PCHC.man”
PHY S by checking “SPHY.man”
ACE by checking “ADSP.man”

The BIOS I was looking at above is the Asrock Z890 Aqua 2.26.AS02 [Beta]

For example, the ME firmware update listed on the ROG forums lists the below, what is the best method for checking an existing BIOS and possibly a ME FW upd file to compare the version differences between them?

Firmware : 19.0.0.1854 [27/11/2024]
PMC Firmware : 1900.21.0.1054
PCHC Firmware : 1900.21.0.1009
SOCC Firmware : 1900.25.0.1009
ACE Firmware : 20.40.1483.0
PHY S Firmware : 13.0.1.7093
PHY N Firmware : 19.2.0.7014
IOM Firmware : 49.20.0.0
TBT Firmware : 19.0.0.1301
ESEP SSE Firmware : 1100.0.0.1823
DMUP SSE Firmware : 33313.63.0.17536
PUNIT SSE Firmware : 545.63.0.17536
SOC SSE Firmware : 1001.0.0.1812
SOC PMC SSE Firmware : 1900.25.0.1055
SOC PHY S SSE Firmware : 19.2.0.7034

Regarding 16.1.35.2557_CON_LP_A_PRD_EXTR_75A6D4FE

Seems that the Dell updates containing this version are marked “not for production”, the stable version is back to 16.1.32 again, but unclear if ME is the reason.
