Hi,
Lenovo has published ADL 16.1.35.2557 - CORP and CON LP on their x3 Gen8.
Find attached the non-capsule versions

Also note from the Lenovo readme:
PLEASE NOTE THAT UPDATING USING NON-CAPSULE METHOD WILL NOT UPDATE THE BACK UP MEFW.
NOT UPDATING BACK UP MEFW INCREASES RISK OF DOWNGRADE OR
SYSTEM NOT BOOTING IF SYSTEM FW GOT CORRUPTED
IF YOU WANT TO UPDATE BACK UP MEFW PLEASE USE CAPSULE METHOD INSTEAD.
There were additional “BU” labeled .bin files also inside the original folder, which I suppose are the same as provided above, so I didn’t include them.
In case you wonder, yes, with Lenovo you can use the capsule update from x3 Gen8 also for models that have a 16.1 Corp LP

BTW, The interesting part is you can flash CSME 18.1 Firmware on the system which use CSME 18.0 firmware (Meteor Lake) with no issue.

Can someone please give me the MFIT tool version 16.1? I want to check if I have set the HAP bit correctly. I know there links in this thread but some of them don’t work.

I managed to dump my Intel ME firmware and tried using it with MFIT version 16.1.25.2091 but it said “Corrupted buffer detected”. I also tested the update Firmware and it opened it.
intel csme version detection tool recognizes the firmware. I just want to know how to set the HAP bit correctly. (I have not flashed a modified version with HAP bit set.) can someone help me? ME firmware version 16.1.35.2557

Hello everyone,
I’m currently working on cleaning and restoring the ME Region of a Lenovo ThinkStation P3 Ultra.
The system uses Intel CSME version 16.1.25.2049, with a Corporate H (COR_H) SKU.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a clean RGN firmware for this exact version.
If anyone has the file:
16.1.25.2049_COR_H_PRD_RGN.bin
I would greatly appreciate it if you could share it.
