Thank you very much @westlake !
Here is the post about the firmware 11.9.6.3173 on the Station-Drivers - Intel Management Engine Firmware 11.8 - Forum
It has photos and all the necessary links for anyone who needs them.
No more security vulnerabilities for firmware 11.8.
For firmware 11.8 the latest version around here (11.8.98.4781) apparently contains security vulnerabilities, although the description by the Intel CSME version detection tool changed from
This system is vulnerable.
(Version 14.0.2.15 dated 2026-01-13)
to
There are additional Intel CSME-related security mitigations provided to system manufacturers. [ā¦]

Iām interested in further updates, but donāt have an idea which manufacturers might still release new firmware or where firmware 11.8.98.4781 was found (as first stop to check). Sad that Intel puts efforts in preparing updates, and users who want to secure their systems canāt reach it.
This is not an Intel issue, since these releases are not intended to final users unless the OEMās release them, so take your chances with updated images shared by users or wait for your system own updates.
Currently the newer releases 11.9.1.3010, 11.9.5.3098, 11.9.6.3173 found and shared are not available for all SKUās.
Anyone know where I can get the CSME tools Version 12.1.1.1030 or newer?

No version 12.1
Thatās a great observation! So obviously thereās a newer version (>12.0.85.1919), but itās not public and hasnāt been leeked for anyone to share here.
