Intel RST/RSTe Drivers (latest: v20.0.1.1039/ v9.0.3.1026)

The start post has been updated by me today (07/07/2024).
New: 64bit Intel RST VMD driver v20.1.0.1013 WHQL for Win10-11 x64 dated 05/10/2024
New: Intel RST Drivers & Software Set v20.1.0.1013.0 for Win10-11 x64 dated 05/10/2024

This latest driver would not load because of Secure Boot. Evidently, the certificate used to sign the driver (Microsoft Windows PCA 2010) has been revoked.

Thanks for this interesting information.
Have you even tried to force the installation by using the „Have Disk“ button?

Yes. After rebooting, the driver does not load: Error 39. You can get more info from the station-drivers.com forum:

I don’t know why station-drivers has not pulled this driver. It only works if Secure Boot is disabled.

Hi
@Fernando Where Can I find latest non-VMD drivers?

mb_driver_intel_bootdisk_irst_19.5.0.1037.zip (5.6 MB)

These are last non VMD drivers I have found, do you have newer version?

@the4anoni

You can find them within the start post of this thread.

Your attached driverpack contains an Intel RST AHCI/RAID driver v18.31.6.1039 dated 02/18/2021. The latest Intel RST AHCI/RAID driver is v18.37.7.1013 dated 02/06/2023.

Sorry, my mistake. Gigabyte really confused me with zip name v19.5 while attaching older driver.

Why Intel makes it so hard with drivers and stuff…

Should I use Intel RST AHCI/RAID driver v18.37.7.1013 or built in Windows Sata driver?

Since each mainboard model is different, you should find out yourself the best choice for your PC.

Today (08/19/2024) I have updated the start post of this thread.
Info:
The offered new Intel RSTe SATA/sSATA and NVMe VROC RAID drivers v9.0.0.1836 WHQL dated 05/13/2024 are the first ones, which belong to the v9 platform. Supported are only the latest/upcoming Intel “Enterprise Edition” chipset systems with either
a) Intel NVMe Controllers DEV_201D or DEV_28C0 or
b) Intel SATA/sSATA RAID Controllers DEV_2826/DEV_2827

The start post has been updated by me today (08/22/2024).
New: 64bit Intel RST VMD driver v20.1.0.1015 WHQL for Win10-11 x64 dated 07/22/2024
New: Intel RST Drivers & Software Set v20.1.0.1015.1 for Win10-11 x64 dated 08/02/2024

Note: I hope, that the BSOD problems with the v20.1.0.1013 VMD driver (look >here<) have been solved by Intel. That is why I have removed the alternatively offered Intel RST VMD driver v20.0.0.1038.

There was some kind of error, I have now corrected everything.
Something is wrong with MEGA.

@Fernando
You probably forgot to change the topic title, it remains the same.

Thanks for your hint, but I saw no reason to change the thread title, because the Intel RST VMD diver v20.0.1.1039 is still the latest Intel RST driver, which belongs to the v20 platform. It is dated 08/21/2024, whereas the v20.1.1.1016 driver is dated 08/13/2024. For me the final compilation date is much more important than the date of the driver’s release or its WHQL stamp.
Note: Both drivers belong to different branches (v20.0 and v20.1) and do support somewhat different VMD Controllers.
As you surely know, Intel’s driver compilation team works very often simultaneously on new drivers for different development branches and it is not the first time, that an Intel RST/RSTe driver with the highest version number was not the latest of the related platform.
