Hi Fernando
I have a problem when I try to install windows 7 or 8, I can not because I do not detect the disks, try to install the drivers you mention from the Windows installation screen , but does not function .
the board is an ASUS M2N -e nvidia chipset 570 ultra
WD raptor 80 GB
seagate 500 GB
Sata disk
Solved…just unplug the raptor.
W7x64 + Asus M2N68-AM PLUS (nforce630a) + Special 64bit nForce RAID Driverpack for Win7-10 x64 v10.1 = Total satisfaction I mean everything works like a charm Thank U so much Fernando U’re the one!!!
Operating System: Windows 7 x64 Pro
IDE mode: SATA and RAID work well both
@ HAZArD:
Thanks for your report, which has encouraged me to publish the related download links within the start post of this thread.
Please add the following informations, which will be helpful for other nForce users, who want to try any of my “Optimized nForce Driverpacks”:
1. Operating System
2. IDE mode (SATA/RAID) of the NVIDIA nForce SATA Controller.
@ all:
Update of the start post
Changelog:
- new: “Special 32/64bit nForce RAID Driverpacks for Win7-10 x86/x64” v10.1 (with several mod+signed drivers inside)
- new: “Special 32/64bit nForce2(3)-4 LEGACY Driverpacks for Win7-10 x/86/x64” v10.0 (with several mod+signed drivers inside)
Important note:
Although I got reports from some nForce users, that these driverpacks worked with their system, I cannot guarantee, that they will work for your system as well.
Please keep in mind, that NVIDIA has stopped the support of the nForce chipsets already in 2009/2010, that means a long time before Microsoft released their latest Operating Systems.
Any feedback is much appreciated, but don’t forget to mention the OS you are running and the nForce configuration (chipset and SATA mode) of your system
Good luck with these new nForce chipset driverpacks!

Hello,
Report on nforce405 (MCP61) / Kingston V300 SSD 120GB :
I used the SATA_IDE Driver (v11.1.0.33) but after TrimCheck test I realized that TRIM does not work.
I test (v11.2.20.9) : same result.
I’m testing with windows 7 IDE drivers : TRIM OK.
It’s normal ? Or is it a problem with TrimCheck ?
Also HD Tune Test (v11.2.20.9) :
And MSwin7IDE :
The result is absolutely normal. The only TRIM supporting IDE driver is the generic MS IDE driver named PCIIDE.SYS.
At the time, when NVIDIA has developed their latest nForce SATA drivers, the TRIM command was absolutely unknown.
Consequence for all nForce chipset users: If they want to get TRIM, they
a) have to use a modern Windows OS from Win7 up,
b) have to run their SSD in IDE mode and
c) have to use the MS in-box standard IDE driver.
Thank you for confirmation.
OMG Thank You so much man I have been running Win7 HP 64bit forever and done no telling how many reinstalls, did one yesterday and evga 15.58 network drivers would not work actually did 6 re-installs trying to figure this out.
Used Win7 DVD failed, Win7 on USB driver failed, Win7 slipstreamed SP1 USB failed.
Was running 80 to 2Mb speeds dropping everywhere on speedtest, file download speeds was constant maxed 2MB to 700kb. (Should be 12mbps DL) connection is 100mbps
Got you drivers and bam solved my connectivity issue even EVGA will be referring old chipset users to your post now we could not even figure it out.
Just had to register to say thank you.

@ OdinSon:
Welcome at Win-RAID Forum and thanks for your report!
I am glad, that my "specially modded and signed" nForce driverpack solved your problems.
There is only 1 question left: Which driverpack did you install?
Enjoy your nForce system by using optimized nForce drivers!
Regards
Dieter (alias Fernando)
I used these they worked like a charm on my issue
"Latest nForce Driverpacks for Win7-10"
Ethernet Driver (v73.3.5) modified and digitally signed by me
Not sure why my Win7 install is doing this neither was EVGA I tried everything till I remembered coming across your post a while back and found the packs.
I seriously have to upgrade soon my MB, CPU, and Memory with a new power supply is all I am missing.
Thanks a lot for the work!
@ OdinSon:
Please reduce the size of your signature. 3-4 lines with the most important system details (mainboard model, chipset, HDDs/SSDs, SATA mode and OS) are enough for this Forum.
The big majority of the Forum members and visitors are interested in compact informations and not in threads, which are blown up by big sized signatures.
I hope for your understanding.

Hello. I have just registered.
Trying to use Fernando’s nForce drivers on an ASUS m3n78pro mainboard (nForce 720a chipset) running in IDE mode because I do not have an SSD.
Operating System is W10 Home x64
When forcing the nVidia nForce IDE driver I get an “unaccessible boot volume” BSOD after rebooting.
Maybe I have download wrong drivers or need to set AHCI mode in BIOS.
Any help would be really appreciated. HD performance with standard IDE double channel driver is awful.
@ eLPuSHeR:
Welcome at Win-RAID Forum!
Which one of my NVIDIA nForce Driverpacks resp. which nForce SATA_IDE driver version did you install?
Regards
Dieter (alias Fernando)
Thanks for the quick reply.
I think I downloaded the B option -> B. Mod+signed nForce Driverpacks
Which ones are the most suitable for w10 x64?
TIA.
PS . Another question. Is AHCI preferable over old IDE even if you do not have a SSD drive? Is it imperative running in AHCI mode to use your driverpack?
Which one of them (the "Latest", the "Special RAID" or the "Special LEGACY" one)?
It depends on the nForce chipset and the SATA mode (IDE/AHCI/RAID).
Since your nForce chipset supports AHCI, you probably will get the best results, if you switch the nForce SATA Controller from "IDE" to "AHCI" and install the "Latest nForce Driverpack", but this may require a fresh install of the OS.
Thank you!
I think I installed the "latest" one. Neither the "Special RAID" nor the "Legacy one".
I can easily alternate between IDE and AHCI without the need for a fresh install. I am going to give AHCI a try.
Another PS - I assume your driver is "better" than its MSAHCI counterpart, right?
According to the feedback I got, the nForce AHCI driver works better than the generic MS one.
Just because every PC is different…
According to this little benchmark I made, it seems I am better sticking with plain old IDE mode for this mainboard. That’s why I currently have Intel chipsets PCs. I think they perform better. This is an old pc (Phenom) used at my work place.
Stupid me. I forgot to say that first screen is standard IDE drive (double channel pci ide driver); second one is MSAHCI 1.0 driver and last one is Fernando’s driver (nVidia nForce driver)
http://imgur.com/CtwEAaJ
I want to thank you anyway for the time and effort taken to do this driver packs. And I would like you people to comment on this benchmark. I would like to hear your opinions.
Best regards.
This is absolutely true.
You forgot to mention, which benchmark test has been done with which driver version.
Sorry. I editted my post.
1st. one is IDE standard mode.
2nd. one is MSAHCI 1.0
3rd. one is your driver (nForce AHCI driver)
