Thank you very much.
I have an NH55AFW which came with BIOS version 1.07.01 and for some reason Clevo shipped it with virtualization (AMD-V) disabled in the BIOS and no option to enable it.
After some emails back and forth with Clevo marketing, they eventually confirmed that AMD-V only came enabled from BIOS version 1.07.03 onwards, but that I should request it from my reseller, who turned out to be useless…
Good thing I stumbled upon your post. The BIOS version for my model, in the link you provided, is 1.07.05 and worked like a charm. I can now resume working with 64 Bits VM’s.
Funny enough, there’s still no option in BIOS to enable/disable Virtualization / AMD-V / SVM
@GooballDiesel Wow, just over 4.2GB of files in this collection - thanks for sharing!
@GooballDiesel Thank you very much for sharing ![]()
The link doesn’t work anymore. :c

I think they have the model you are after from a quick check.
I can’t find my Model Number in the list.
Does someone know what to do?
I would really like to update my BIOS before my Intel CPU fries itself…
I have a Clevo V15x_V17xRNx
Thanks
Hello, I have Clevo P670SE, with i7 4710HQ and GeForce GTX 970M 3GB. Please, can you provide the link of the official and, if possible, modded BIOS and EC Firmware updates for my laptop model since the link in the post is dead. Thank you in advance, and sorry for my bad english, its not my native language ![]()
Oh, didnt see that at all. Thank youu so much, but I have found the latest BIOS and EC v1.05.01 on XMG website, installed it and works fine. Is there somewhere a PremaMod, or similar modded BIOS specifically for P670SE that has unlocked features or NVMe support? Thank you.
Not that i’m aware of… but the forum is huge.
Since you’re using the BIOS and EC v1.05.01, compare it against the mod on the other thread you posted.
Well, since all P6xxSx models have very similar motherboard (chipset, Haswell CPUs, GPU generation etc.), I think it can be used on my P670SE (now XMG P705, since 1.05 BIOS/EC I found is for P671SE that works flawlessly on my model), altho SA models have GTX 965M I think, while my model SE has GTX 970M. Maybe if I backup my original stock VBIOS from my card and flash it after I install the BIOS/EC mod (if thats possible) from the other post where mod is, Its possibly doable. Maybe I dont even need to flash my VBIOS for that mod at all if its “universal” to some extent, who knows.
Only if the motherboard uses a discrete GPU or MXM and/or have a vBios dedicated IC for the rom, besides that, common vbios are embedded in main system SPI IC bios.
Many OEM barebone bioses are the same for several models with multiple GPU models supported…so watch what are doing and dont mess with it too much.
For these operations a SPI Programmer is advisable, for full backups and recover.
Understood, I have CH341A programmer with SOIC8 clam but it outputs 5V, so I will get 3.3V adapter and try with that route just to be sure. I will report here if I successfuly do that mod on my model, so others can do it if they have same (or atleast similar) model of my laptop. Thank you for provided information, if someone has PremaMod or similar BIOS/EC mod for P670SE, please senr me a message, I would be grateful. Best regards!
One more thing, since there is “BIOS Region” and “Full BIOS SPI Image” files, separated in the aforementioned BIOS and EC mod for P6xxSA models, can I just flash BIOS region only, without Full SPI BIOS Image? I know this is not 100% verified or genuine, but I asked Gemini Pro if that is possible to do, so I can lower the risk of bricking the laptop without messing with CH341A right now. He said that in BIOS region, all those OC capabilities and unlocks for CPU, RAM, iGPU, NVMe support, VBIOS etc., are in that BIOS region (which I only need and want), while ME Firmware is in the full SPI BIOS Image (which I dont need, if its not necessary). Can I go that route maybe?
A bios region dump and mod, then Intel FPT tool if possible
This will not “save you” or any other user, from a bad mod and a bricked system that needs recover by SPi programmer.
If I understood correctly, I can backup my current BIOS region only (I will try full BIOS image if possible), via FTP v9.1 r7 Tools and proceed with flashing that modded BIOS region only, without whole BIOS Image (after flashing modded EC firmware first of course)?
