New Update:
The 9th generation G5420 processor has been tested and run on an MSI H110M PRO-VD motherboard without any pin modding.
Result: Successful
As you may know, H110 Series motherboards support 6th and 7th generation processors, and it’s commonly believed that 8th and 9th generation processors won’t work on them. However, as you can see in the image below, this is not the case.
Further developments on other H110 series motherboards will be published here in the future.
