[OFFER] Gigabyte GA-AX370-Aorus Gaming 5 BIOS mod

hello everybody, I am having problems with my memories. I wonder one of those problems with this motherboard can damage the ram modules. Do you recommend to change my motherboard? I had a kit
Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8 ‎CMK16GX4M2B3000C15B and I couldn´t make them work well. So, I sold them. Then I got this g.skill kit: ‎F4-3200C15Q-32GTZ. At the begining they work fine but now windows shows the half of the ram is reserved for hardware and the memories are working at 1883 mhz more or less… I suspect there is something wrong with the ram. Any advice?

Thanks

@Scherade you should reinstall Windows - i suspect malware

Thank you. No this is not a software problem. I checked it. I use a usb to boot with a clean windows intalled.

Bios version?
Ryzen 1000, 2000 or 3000?

I have the last bios F50e. Ryzen 7 1700x

Today I tried another memory kits from Crucial, 2x16 and work fine. So, I am sure my G.Skill RAM are bad. I wonder how it happened because when I bought them work fine, too…

Thank you

email from gigabyte (a few moths ago):

According to our memory support list CMK32GX4M2B3200C16 is only supported as single module. Two or more modules are not supported: https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/M…370-Gaming5.pdf For AMD Ryzen 1. generation you should use DDR4 2666 memory only: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-…-5-rev-10/sp#sp

3000/3200 Mhz RAM is only "stable" with Ryzen 2000/3000

Thanks. I am in contact with Gigabyte support, too. I am afraid to continue buying memory kits and the system broke them… They says to me that:

"F4-3200C15Q-32GTZ is not on our mmory support list Summit Ridge CPU .

The specs say:

Support for DDR4 3200(O.C.)/2933(O.C.)/2667*/2400/2133 MHz memory modules
* Support for higher than DDR4 2667 MHz may vary by CPU.

Ryzen 7 1700x specification is:up to DDR4 2667

But what means exactly "stable" My system now is working fine, I do not notice any error or problem.

«Flashing BIOS from Gigabyte and BIOSTAR 400-series line renders the PC unusable since the PC is unable to boot. Flashing the ASRock BIOS though lets you boot through SATA drives and AMD Ryzen 5000 ‘Zen 3’ chips work without any issue though you do lack NVMe support and resizable-BAR»

Good afternoon everyone. I introduce myself, my name is Angel and I am from Spain.
I have a GA-AX370-Gaming 5 motherboard. It is factory damaged and seems to be a problem with the BIOS Chips.
It will help me to read the ICs with a CH341A programmer and send me the .bin files of the 4 ICs
I guess the Chips are the same in groups of 2. There are 2 above and another 2 below.

My models are the following:
-Group 1:
1- MXIC MX 25U12873F M2I-10G 8D517100 L172000
2- MXIC MX 25U12873F M2I-10G 8D517100 L172000
-Group 2:
3- MXIC MX 25L4006E M2I-12G 3Y093300 L171580
4- MXIC MX 25L4006E M2I-12G 3Y031000 L170780

Please, I need the read file of your ICs. There is no way to get the IC group 2 ROM.

Thank you. I hope your answer soon!

Thats just garbage memory support on newer firmware. I ran an R7 1700 on the Gaming 5 a few years ago and had the system fully stable at 3466MHz CL16 with a kit of Samsung B-Die. Memory compatibility has always been an issue for GB though, the only manufacturer from my experience that doesn’t seem to suffer this problem too much is Asrock.

Hello ket,

Does your latest 'B350 Gaming 3 F50a ’ bios have better virtual machine support?
If so, i would like to donate for this bios with better virtual machine support and as much features as possible.

thx!

Ryzen 5000 Support Finally Enabled On A320 Motherboards (Asus y Gigabyte)

This is why I don’t recommend GB boards anymore. I gave them one last chance with an Aorus X570 Pro I was writing a review for and that board just randomly died. Add to this GB pissing of China a while back because of their incompetence in literally every area of the company and more recently GB PSUs literally blowing up and GB trying to brush even that under the rug, don’t buy from GB, ever.

There are a lot of options exposed and refined in one way or another including some options for VM (SR-IOV, and one other if I remember correctly) but obviously I can’t guarantee the benefit they could be to you @carval444 .

OMG new Bios… no Ryzen 5000

Are we sure they didn’t sneak 5000 support in? I’ve been unable to flash the bios so I can’t test.

AMD may not want to support X370 users for Ryzen 5000 (Vermeer) until it releases Ryzen 6000 (CES 2022, Jan.)
To prevent X370 users from stopping buying Ryzen 3000 and cannibalizing Ryzen 5000 sales during the Christmas season

¿¿??

Looks like the AX370-Gaming K7 is the odd one out on the version numbering, with F51d newly posted instead.

I’m curious if it contains AGESA newer than ComboAM4PI 1.0.0.6.

Not terribly anxious to try flashing it though, as I’m just finally feeling like I’ve got a handle on all the configuration (and quirks) involved in using the board with my 3900X!

can I run 4650g on x370 gaming k7?

Hello!
I have a Gigabyte Aorus X370 K7. Is there any chance I could request a bios with support for the 5000 series processors? I am willing to pay.

I got myself into a fairly bad situation since I want to upgrade my CPU from an 1800x to a 5800x but I have an EK monoblock on my motherboard and if I change my motherboard I would have to buy a new one.

Latest F51e for X370 Gaming K7 now lists AGESA ComboV2 1.2.0.5 “for Ryzen 4000 G-Series support”.

Does this mean that 5000-series Zen3 would be supported now as well?
