[Problem] Bricked Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 460 14283-2 Bios

Hi, I have a problem with my Lenovo Yoga.
The main issue is that the laptop doesn’t show any display. It powers on, restarts once, then stays on, but with no image on the screen. It reacts to the power button, but there is no reaction to Ctrl, the dot over the “i” in the ThinkPad logo lighting up, and the Fn key to.

When I remove the RAM, it starts beeping 1-3-3-1, which I think means the mainboard is OK.

I made an original BIOS dump with a CH341A programmer and it looked fine at first. Then I cleaned the ME region and downloaded the latest BIOS .exe from the Lenovo website. I programmed it and tried to turn the laptop on again.

Now I hear 4-4-4-4 beeps, and as far as I know that means a bad ME firmware.

Can somebody help me fix this?

Edit by Fernando: Thread moved into the “BIOS Problems” Category and title customized

Presumably you did edit and merge the Lenovo content from the file ($0AR0500.FL1)… as this file is not a complete firmware image to program directly.

EDIT: Then the issue could be other than bios/me corruption… its not always a firmware to blame… and this seems to be your issue.

Yes. I only took the BIOS region from the update and merged it with the cleaned ME region. But I tried the same with original dump, and issue was the same. I’d appreciate any help — I’m still learning BIOS operations.
