[Problem] Corrupted bios Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5 14iil05

My bios is corrupted, when turning on I get black screen, fan at 100%, ESC and Capslock key ON.

I managed to dump the bios from the chip Winbond W25Q128JV with the Ch341a using the software “Ch341a Programmer V2.2.0.10”

I have extracted from lenovo website firmware file: “eccn46ww.exe” the .cap file and with the UefiTool extracted the body of File GUID: 6C60EE00-C316-4C95-A684-CDC7E7033311 raw binary

Edit: I opened my with uefitool my bios_dump, I replaced the “Bios Region” inside my corrupted dump with the “raw binary good bios downloaded from lenovo”

I flashed but no luck, Is it necessary to copy other regions?

I don’t know how to proceed.

I appreciate any help in this matter.

Thanks.

Thanks MeatWar, I’ve read it entirely and carefully, that’s why I decided to create this post because my chipset is Intel, and on that 2021 post everyone is on AMD.

The step I’m interested on your linked post is 7:

  1. This step requires taking the .bin you just read from the IC and copying certain info from it in a hex editor and pasting it in a clean BIOS.bin file extracted from the original .cap BIOS format. I would rather do this for you instead of trying to explain how. I’ll PM you my email

Are you suggesting I contact the user “Plastixx” ?

Why not? You’ll get an answer from him or not.

One of the eccn46ww worked. My notebook turned on. Then it didn’t. Then it only turned on if i touch with my finger the motherboard in a very specific place where I think I shorted barely with my finger capacitance something, and after a few seconds turned on. Then it didn’t… I don’t know, I’ll put it on sale for parts.

What a shitty laptop, with a thousand people having the same problem.

Thanks to the forum guides for teaching me a lot.
