I’m almost getting this computer to run with a i3 9100, using coffetime and replacing the microcode, downgrading the ME to 11.8.77.3664 and disabling ME, then flashing with CH341A, the computer boots, on the keyboard I can turn on/off the caps-lock, numpad, but there is no image.
Updating the VBIOS (manual mode, coffetime doesn’t work) and GOP makes the computer led blink 2 amber and 5 white (BIOS Checksum Failure), is there a way to fix that? I didn’t found anyone talking how to fix the checksum error on dell motherboads
Hello @MatthewFord
Is this the mini tower, small form factor or the micro case?
You might need to get an add-in video card.

The SFF type
I tried using a nvidia gpu but it didn’t showed image in the bios, I still have to do more tests, because for me it is impractical to use a gpu
I might try with older or newer bios versions to see if any of them boots with the vbios update, wish me luck haha
I can now boot the system with an i3-9100 (still no image), even after modifying the GOP and VBIOS, but there are still some problems. I’m posting updates here: [Request] Unlocked Dell XPS 8910 BIOS with CoffeeLake Support if you want a follow-up
