I’m running into the problem with VIA VL805 on windows xp x64, after installing the driver VIA USB 3 Root Hub says, that “No drivers are installed for this device.”, but VIA USB eXtensible host controller reports itself as working properly. I tried many diffrent versions of drivers starting with 4.00 to the newest 5.60. Also worth noting its that “VIA USB 2 Hub” is not installing by any chance. On windows Vista/7 “VIA USB 2 Hub” is installing as “vusb\class_09“, but in XP it’s not existing. Can it be a firmware problem? Or XP does not support this or am i missing any updates to the system? And also i have this chip embedded in my motherboard, it is not dedicated pcie card.
