Yes that one the S5. Enable it. Then reboot in your Windows 10 if it’s working. Then reboot into Win7.
The goal is to let Win10 initialize the USB devices.
Let me know if that works.

@lvpha
I am not interested in getting Win7 installed onto my X570 chipset system, but if you should have meant S5 while writing C5, you should correct your typo.
@lvpha I have tried downloading but magnet link doesn’t work
Also USB power in S5 or C5 is enabled.
Additionally, are you saying I have to boot into Windows 10 before ever going into Windows 7??
Hey @Windows7_Fan
Try downloading using this link: Link removed by Fernando
Yes, for the first time. You have to boot into Win10 first.
Sometimes the system still freezes on boot. I have to reboot it like 2-3 times before I see the mouse and keyboard lights on.
Edit by Fernando: The download link to a cracked Windows ISO file have been removed, because such links are a clear violation of Microsoft’s Copyright and not allowed within this Forum.
@lvpha Downloading now.
However the USB Mouse and Keyboard did have lights on, but as soon as the Starting Windows boot-up animation completes, the lights turns off.
From there everything hangs or freezes
@lvpha Well, download completed and went straight to installation.
Of course created USB boot with Rufus on MBR mode.
And besides for everything being in German, I was able to navigate and it looked very promising.
However problem occurred yet again…when installation was completed and was rebooting (again) to start windwos, I was stuck again here (but in different language )
I have now gone through a week with no productivity!
I don’t know (again) where to continue with this, as I just find it really strange that I’m getting almost exactly the same response with my (now bricked) Asrock x570 Pro4 motherboard…it just doesn’t like like botting into Windows 7.
Can anyone give me some suggestions perhaps?
Also, where does one obtain a Windows 7 ISO with modded Acpi.sys?
I’m really out of my wits here!
Hey @Windows7_Fan Thanks for your reply!
I get the same problem sometimes.
have you tried disconnecting all the USB ports? You can disconnect them just after the POST if the PC refuses to boot.
in the bios: set
→ Precision boost overdrive ON
→ Resize BAR OFF
→ USB legacy ON
Try the above, I’ll be sending my Bios configuration shortly.
Also, have you tried booting into Win10, then reboot into Win7?
@lvpha No worries!
Have you too got an Asus x570-F motherboard?
I only have Mouse and Keyboard on USB, does this make any difference?
And yes, I have installed Windows 10 on its own partition in the hard drive.
Works fine, then switched/boot into Windows 7 partition; still hangs/freezes on boot-up animation
How do I obtain your BIOS configuration?
do you have the same motherboard as me??
Hello everyone, long time once again!
Just thought to update my scenario for those who remembered.
I kind of threw in the towel with my Asus x570-F board as none of the integrated drivers were working.
Therefore I resorted to a Asus Prime x570-Pro, simply because it has a PS/2 port. I needed either a mouse of keyboard to work (which it did).
Using a fresh install of Windows 7, and a clone of my original partition/hard drive containing (absolutely everything).
Results with this is that my original install boots up to desktop, and Windows starts the automation of installing drivers in the background, which a few minutes later it completely freezes.
I have then spent hours, days and weeks experimenting and trying to bypass this process because once it hangs, you will NEVER be able to boot into the operating system again.
I got around this by constantly deleting and replacing the Windows folder with a copy I made from the original hard drive.
A fresh install works fine, and because of this I wanted to re-install the system files only in Windows 7 via the “Upgrade” option in the setup.
But like before the computer hangs before I can get the installation to progress further.
It was only until a couple days ago I decided to use a Driver managing software Double Driver (can backup and restore) and to backup the current installed drivers and then completely remove the drivers. That way I would be able to buy more time for the re-install to progress.
Lo and behold…it worked!
Windows 7 install via upgrade was able to progress and eventually complete after it does its Restarts.
After this, I was able to boot back into Windows without issue.
I even installed the Asus driver package from Canonkong, and a couple of necessary Microsoft Update Packages for updating Update client and driver signing.
All good at this point.
Now, I wanted to bring all my backed up drivers back into the system. Thus I proceeded again with Double Driver to restore drivers.
After that procedure I am then prompted to Restart computer, I did and once again…freezes on boot-up animation “Starting Windows”. Very sad moment for me.
I am now left to conclude that there is either a conflict or incompatible driver for x570 boards. or anything along those lines.
Therefore I would like to ask, might anyone know what driver could be causing this problem?
Please do correct me if I am wrong with my observation but I sincerely hope this helps!
@Windows7_Fan
Thank you very much for your continuous efforts to get the problem solved, which has been described first of all by @evilprotoss in December 2020 by starting this thread.
It is a pity for you and all other Win7 fans with an AMD X570 chipset and a Ryzen 5xxxx CPU, that you were yet not able to solve the arising problems while trying to get Win7 x64 properly installed and working - despite all your efforts with different AMD X570 chipset mainboard models.
To make it easier for the Forum visitors to find all the problem related information within 1 single thread, I have merged the numerously existing ones with a similar topic (as already announced by me >here<).
I hope for your understanding.
If you or anone else should ever find a solution, please post it into this thread. Then the title will get the prefix “Solved”.
Thanks again!
