I’m trying to run Windows 7 SP1 x64 on an Intel Core i5-8265U (Whiskey Lake).
Hardware:
CPU: Intel Core i5-8265U
GPU: Intel UHD Graphics 620
PCI ID: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3EA0
I installed the modified Intel 21.20.16.5077 “Playback Fixed” package.
The driver installs successfully.
The device is detected as “Intel UHD Graphics 620”.
However, Windows always reports Code 43.
The INF already contains DEV_3EA0 entries, so this does not seem to be an INF problem.
Has anyone managed to get a Whiskey Lake iGPU (3EA0) working on Windows 7?
Is there any newer patch for igdkmd64.sys or another modified package?
