@Hirosake - Sorry to see this! Main battery connected with SPI should not short or blow anything out, this is normal to do/try and some require it even
So, something else must have been shorted/backwards etc

I know the spi flash tool works on my 1070 mxm video card…out of the pc…but for all I know it could be wired backwards (its not but some of those jumper pins I have no idea)

"Jumper Pins" What do you mean, on the clip? If yes, they should all be correct, unless you made your own clip/cable?
If you mean jumper on the CH341A itself, that should be on position 1-2
I tried this aswell. And I got error code 167
