@sigh_duck You can try this bios: H110TrooperD3.rar (6.3 MB)
However, you might need to transfer your bios dump credentials before flashing, you can use CoffeeTime v0.99 or manually do it using UEFITool v0.25.0/0.25.1 (don’t use newer version, it could “corrupt” the bios) .
How to do it manually using UEFITool:
-
Open your bios dump using uefitool, and search GUID FD44820B-F1AB-41C0-AE4E-0C55556EB9BD:
-
Extract As-Is and name it whatever you like, this will be your bios dump stock FD44 data:
-
Open the modded bios using uefitool v0.25.0, and search the same GUID from step 1, right click, replace as-is, pick the .ffs you’ve extracted, then save file:
-
And use that FD44 replaced bios mod for your base for flashing
To Flash the bios, you can use v3.05.04 of afuwin/afudos, but it didn’t work on Windows 11 24H2 as per what i’ve tried before. For flashing, you can read this post on Afuwin method section (you might need to download the original bios).
But before flashing the bios using v3.05.04 of afuwin/afudos, you need to disable intel me state, enable me fw image re-flash, and optionally, enable Local FW Update.
Use Grub Mod efi bootable IF those settings weren’t shown in your bios, these are the VarOffsets in the latest bios:
- ME State: 0x39B
- Me FW Image Re-Flash: 0x38C
- Local FW Update: 0x38D
You should make an efi bootable, then use this .efi to replace the original boot.efi (delete the original boot.efi, for example bootx64.efi is the original efi bootloader you’ve just made, then delete bootx64.efi, paste the mod.efi to the boot folder where bootx64.efi resides, and then rename mod.efi as bootx64.efi).
Once you’ve booted to grub mod, change those VarOffsets to 0x0, for example
setup_var 0x39B 0x0
setup_var 0x39C 0x0
setup_var 0x39D 0x0
(these are commands per line separately, so do it one by one)
Once everything is done, type reboot and enter, and then immidiately boot to mod grub for the last time, this time change the 0x0 you’ve typed earlier with 0x1, type reboot and enter, then boot to windows.
Once you’ve done those, you should’ve get ME Version unknown:
That way, you can use Afuwin method to flash the bios.
