Hi,

I am trying to unlock the BIOS of my Asus Vivobook 16X to undervolt to unlease the full potential power of the i9-13980HX CPU.

Currently the official BIOS doesn’t allow to disable UVP and CEP. I have tried a lot of BIOS variables like 0x381 (UVP), 0x334 (IA CEP). In ThrottleStop 9.6, the voltage offset can be set to negative values but it was not effective. In HWiNFO64, “Dynamic UnderVolt Protection” is reported enabled.

The official BIOS download is

It is an InnoSetup installer, to get the BIOS file, use “Extract” to get it. I also have a dump BIOS by FPTW64.exe, I will upload it if it’s needed.

hey. im user of this laptop too. Using HX cpu with a bios restricted laptop is pure pain. Did you find a solution to locked bios?
