[Request] Gigabyte A5 K1 with ext. Monitor + Bluetooth Support

Hello,
I’m not too good with BIOS modding, but I’d hope someone could help here. I have a Gigabyte A5 K1 laptop, and as per the title, I’d like to be able to output the bios to external monitors and to get my bluetooth keyboard to properly work.

BIOS is already unlocked menu wise.

What I’ve tried so far:
1.Tried to set the display via AMD CBS/PBS options, specifically the ones about selecting display outputs. avoiding turning off the iGPU - still boots on internal monitor. I’m using a USB-C to DP dongle.
2. The Bluetooth keyboard is actually using a USB dongle, as obviously Bluetooth isn’t initialized so early in the boot process. The keyboard is definitely recognized, but it’s working oddly. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s in a German QWERTZ layout, or just the bios is funky, but it’s definitely detected. I’m guessing it needs to do something with the internal keymap? I don’t know for sure.

3. I’ve backed up the BIOS. I have a CH341 programmer.

Does anybody more knowledgeable know if this is possible at all? The BIOS is an Insyde one.

EDIT: Moved to appropriate subforum, I believe.

You should search for vbios (Legacy) init output, most probably EFI GOP driver output init display priority in modern systems, regarding UEFI platform initialization.
These are the low-level EFI drivers initialized by the firmware…called the DXE phase.
My POV only, wait for other users.

Hello. I hope this is not considered necroing. I’m hoping someone more knowledgeable could help me, at least direct me to the right tools/instructions. I tried following some posted here in the forum on my own, but they’re not very comprehensible to me. Thanks again.

Do not think the “term” used is correct on this forum and content.

You also should explain, what have followed and what content is not comprehensible to you, in this way revealing to us the degree of your knowledge, and the way to procedure further by any candidates, present to you.
All the best.
