I would like to seek help with regards to NVME modding my Dell T3610 Bios. I’m new to this thing and I don’t want to brick my system that’s why I’m being extra careful.
My Desktop is Dell T3610:
Processor: Xeon E5-1607 V2
Bios: A19
NVME: SK Hynix PC300
Dumped SPI.bin using fptw.exe
File to insert: NvmExpressDxe_Small.ffs (attached)
I actually tried to do it myself but there are some things I don’t know like:
1. Opening bios dump using UEFI Tool 0.28.0 shows the message… parsevolume: unaligned file 17088572-377F-44EF-8F4E-B09FFF46A070 … Is this normal?
2. No messages when opening original dump using MMTool Aptio as there’s no way to see it.
→ When modding using MMtool Aptio, I saw some difference regarding ‘Pad Files’ entry between the original and modded SPI,
→ When modding using UEFI Tool 0.28.0, the error ‘parsevolume: unaligned file 17088572-377F-44EF-8F4E-B09FFF46A070’ disappears on the modded file.
I was hoping someone could help me. Thank you in advance.
