I have a laptop with a 12th generation motherboard and H670 south bridge NH5xJNN(Q)_R(Q)_PS(Y). I want to replace it with a 13950hx es CPU. The manufacturer has stopped updating the BIOS. If I want to modify it myself, what else do I need to do besides updating the microcode and disabling CSME?

Can’t I modify the bios myself?
Anybody can try to modify the BIOS of his/her device him/herself (if the related person knows how to do it), but a change of the CPU Gen compatibility is a very risky procedure and may end with a bricked laptop.
That is why our BIOS modding expert MeatWar gave you the advice to contact the device’s manufacturer Clevo.
