Hi,
I need a modded BIOS for ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 with Intel Core i7-990X Extreme Edition.
Base BIOS: 1202 (12/22/2010)
RAM: 6×4GB DDR3 (24GB total)
Issue: BIOS and Windows detect only 8GB.
Memory Remap option missing.
Triple-channel not initialized.
Requested fixes:
Updated Westmere microcodes (i7-980X/990X/X56xx)
Memory Map / >12GB detection fix
Triple-channel initialization fix
Thanks!

Most likely a hardware issue on memory controller or socket pins or damage slots.
It’s no mod that will fix it.

Thanks for the reply. Here are additional details:
The issue happened also with my previous CPU (i7-950).
Tried many RAM configurations: 1, 3 and 6 sticks. BIOS always shows 8GB usable.
Speccy and CPU-Z detect all 24GB, all channels populated.
There is no “Memory Remap Feature” option in BIOS 1202.
QPI/DRAM voltage tested up to 1.35V, same result.
No bent pins visible on socket (checked carefully).
Windows always reports “8GB usable”.
Since full RAM is detected but not mapped as usable, this seems BIOS/memory-map initialization related.
If needed I can provide:
BIOS dump
CPU-Z screenshots for each channel
Pictures of DIMM slots / socket
Do you think a RAM training / memory map fix could be applied to 1202?
Thanks!

No, its no mod that will fix a non-standard behaviour of the motherboard, the issue lies elsewhere.
Mixed brand/models/size of DIMM also an issue in these situations.
