Hello,
I have an ASUS Rampage IV Extreme and recently flashed a modded BIOS (version 4901) with NVMe support from this thread. My NVMe drive is detected in Windows, but my RTX 3060 does not display the BIOS/POST screen, likely due to missing UEFI GOP support.
Can anyone provide or create a modded BIOS (based on 4901) that includes both NVMe support and UEFI GOP for RTX 3060 compatibility?
Any help or a link to a suitable BIOS file would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

vBios from discrete GPU Cards are NOT in a motheboard bios, NVMe mod you have it already, so your issue is compatibility or GPU card issue.
If it doesnt display when at UEFI environment, probably a used mining card with mod vbios or a used with tampered vbios.
I dont recall any RTX 3060 being sold without EFI GOP support…
Share correct ID of the GPU card and fetch original vios from OEM or TPU, only later it can be updated if necessay with some NVidia FW updates
I will describe the problem again. Perhaps you misunderstood me because of the translation. The motherboard is an asus rampage iv extreme. The bios version is not important (the latest one with nvme support), I have tried different bios versions. The graphics card is an asus tuf rtx 3060. Everything works fine in windows. However, when I try to enter the motherboard bios, nothing happens. There is no image on the monitor. Has anyone encountered this issue?
The motherboard is set in Legacy/CSM On or UEFI mode?
- In legacy NO display as also NO display in UEFI, its Asus MB incompatibility or GPU.
Can try to update vbios if a newer one exists.
- In Legacy display ON but UEFI not displaying, vbios OK and no GOP or imcompatibility in UEFI.
If so, as mentioned before if mb set as Legacy displays OK and not in UEFI, reflash original vbios and apply the mentioned updates if necessary.
Usually, theres is no “Black list” for GPU card models in mb bios, so no mod is to be done to mb bios.
Tomorrow I will try to enter the bios with another video card (will be 1050) and for now I can’t answer. Just in case tell me how it should be?
…usually a GTX 1050 also boots in Legacy or UEFI, (the same with the 3060…in normal behaviour) so really dont know what else you want to know about it.
