Hello Everyone i have a asus tx gaming b850m wifi s hatsune miku edition and it is based off of the asus tuf gaming b850-plus wifi series the biggest difference is that this one is miku themed. When i start the pc there is a sound which comes out of the built in audio it doesnt come from the gpu audio it plays when the motherboard shows the splash screen which is also custom. I believe the other asus boards don’t make this sound and i havent found anyone mentioning this motherboard having this feature in reviews of these themed components. So my question is how can i find and change the audio. I am not very experienced in bios modding the only thing i can certainly do is change the logo but anyone can do that with the changelogo tool i have a hardware programmer and the whole bios image which is 32mb the bios chip is mx25u25671g if any more info is needed i can provide. I have recorded the audio and attached it with the bios image (image is too big so have to use mega)

Before such actions…even if possible…can you at least tell us if there’s no options in bios to disable that initial startup sound?
That’s common in laptop bioses… but there’s sometimes that switch.

there is no mention of it in the first place i posted about this on techpowerup under a post of a guy with same motherboard but he replied that his one doesnt do that

So i have some finds i have randomly found the file without expecting to find it
it is in section 118C6187-B0D3-4FD4-8B21-A4AE732416AB and is a wav i think
Really dont understand you… did you updated the bios version?
Is the function now available?
Does it suits your needs and startup sound can now be disable?
Why are you looking for this wav file…do you want to risk a newly motherboard by using mod files…
