Hello friends, i have a TongFang GK7CP0S laptop with defective display (flickering problems), original display is BOE NV173FHM-N44 (BOE07B6), but this model is out of stock and can’t be purchased, and so i have buyed and installed innolux n173hce-g33. New Innolux display is working, it don’t have artifacts and it’s not flickering, but brightness is very low (in bios and in OS) and unchangeable, i can’t regulate brightness level. Is it possible to edit laptop bios and add support for new non original display? I guess it’s EDID related things.
