I don’t have the required time to watch your work and to give you the demanded advices, but after having just done the NVMe modification of the BIOS named Z77AF823.BST myself here are my tips:

  1. Use the UEFITool for the modding procedure (with the MMTool a Pad-file will disappear).
  2. Insert te “Small” NVMe module. Otherwise the insertion will not be possible due to a space problem within the compressed DXE Driver Volume.
  3. Don’t forget to give the BIOS its original name after having finalized the BIOS modification.
