Hello! I recently bought a new laptop, a Lenovo Legion Y540-15IRH i7 9750H gtx 1660Ti, and after a lot of try, I finally got Windows 7 working on this PC, but I have a few drivers that are missing and I was wondering if anyone has these drivers? thank you for your help, so the 3 drivers that are missing are: PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1AED&SUBSYS_3FFC17AA&REV_A1
ACPI\USBC000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A370&SUBSYS_00348086&REV_10
I don’t think the latest one is supported like it’s a wifi 6 driver card, but if anyone has ideas and can help me thank you!
Edit by Fernando: Thread title specified and customized
i successfuly installed the wifi drivers with what you told me to, so wifi work, but for the 2 others it’s doesn’t, so i think yeah that they are integrated.
I think driver of ACPI\USBC000 need not to install. But the 10DE is Nvidia video card, so try to install by modifying the inf file by yourself (often because of the ‘SUBSYS’).
I don’t know if it’s a gpu? or maybe it’s a driver from the gpu? because my laptop has a Intel UHD 630 and GTX 1660ti. And it’s appear that both drivers are usb-c related, because i just tried to update the PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1AED&SUBSYS_3FFC17AA&REV_A1 driver and it’s usb-c in the description.
This is a USB-C controller on the NVidia GPU, that is missing a driver, even if the card/laptop doesn’t have a physical port output, most ports on laptop uses a dedicated USB-C controller rather than NVidia/AMD related.
There was no official driver support for older OS’s, Windows 10 up only.
What driver version are you using? I tried with the version 475.14, and the driver just appear to be missing into this driver version, also at the same time like it’s probably also driver related, i have a problem with my computer which is when the computer go in sleep mode and resume, it’s crash, like by example it’s immediately restart, or i’m able to logon but it’s crash after, or it’s just show an error like this one, i think it’s probably a acpi wake alarm issue or intel management engine issue so i wanted to know if you maybe have a fix, because my pc can work without the usb-c drivers, but this issue is bigger for me. And at the same time i don’t know if it’s related or not, but the trackpad isn’t working, the driver doesn’t appear in the device manager, and doesn’t appear in the unknow drivers list. Thanks you
Driver version: 30.0.14.7411 (also DrvCeo driver dated 20221128, I think it is 474.11) (USB Port Policy Controller is installed with DrvCeo driver).
Crash issue: not encountered.
Trackpad: For 6th gen, Intel provided SerialIO controller and HID (iahidi2c) driver for win7. For some other laptops, the trackpad is recognized as a mouse under LPC bus, it is also OK (driver not required). The worst case is the trackpad is enumerated under an I2C controller (not 6th Gen), then only porting win8+ drivers can solve. But porting them is difficult. I have successfully ported / modded acpi.sys, acpiex.sys, KMDF, SpbCx, Intel I2C controller driver (CannonLake), the last one now studying is hidi2c.sys.
I have some updates, i successfully fixed my sleep issue by replacing the ssd, i searched again for the 2 missing drivers, i didn’t find anything but well my pc work perfectly without these drivers, but yeah for the trackpad, i didn’t find anything. So the biggest problem for now is the trackpad and the minor issue with the 2 missing drivers.
I think your Trackpad is under an I2C controller. Recently I have ported win8 hidi2c.sys successfully. My I2C Trackpad can work but not working good. Maybe some higher HID modules need to be ported as well.
