[Solution] ACPITME / EHCI(AMT) driver for win7 64bit of new Intel chipset systems

As we know, when we install win7 on H310/B360/H370/Q370/Z390 ect.
It will have some unknow device, most of them can install the drivers using driver tools.
But all of them do not have ACPITME(ACPI Wake Alarm) driver.
And now you can down it and install it.

Hello Canonkong,

Fantastic work again! This provides a working solution for one of the few left items on my system.

At this point I have 4 entries left without drivers:

http://s.guillard.free.fr/WS-Z390.jpg

PCI VEN 8086 DEV A323 is Cannon Lake PCH SMBus Controller
PCI VEN 8086 DEV A360 is Cannon Lake PCH HECI Controller (AMT interface)
PCI VEN 8086 DEV A324 is Cannon Lake PCH SPI Controller
ACPI\INT3450 is Intel Serial IO GPIO Host Controller

None of these missing items are problematic for my use, as I do not use AMT, and all the hardware sensors appear in hwinfo so they are probably linked to umbus rather than smbus.

Anyway, do you also have drivers for these items?

Best regards,
Stéphane

@sg2
Try it, EHCI(AMT) driver.

Canonkong: thank you again.

I have successfully installed the AMT and fake drivers. No item remains in the unsupported hardware list on my system.

Best regards

Same drivers as previous archives?

Hello Canonkong,

You are making a great work with these drivers.

I installed all of drivers what you do shared in the forum, but i have two devices without drivers:

- ACPI\IFX0763
- PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A370

I can use the computer without these devices because not are relative important for me.
Anyway, do you know any drivers for these devices?

Thank you for all!!

@JuanXo304
PCI \ VEN_8086&DEV_A370 = Intel(R) Wireless-AC 9560 , I have no idea about this, you can use AC8260 replace it.

@sg2
Package them in one and add some device ID

All right, thanks again for the effort. It is a real relief to not be forced into the w10 update hell.

Hi @canonkong , @Fernando ,

I tried to use the following

on a Dell G5 15 5587 (Coffee Lake)

As soon as I apply the drivers, nothing changes in terms of finding the WiFi,
but the computer freezes as soon as I stop moving the mouse.

Any idea?

After some more research, I found these resources:
- Link containing Win 7 drivers and Intel WiFi management tool but no PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A370 yet:
https://www.dell.com/support/home/ca/en/…-15-5587-laptop

- Link containing Win 7 drivers (but limited installer) but no PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A370 yet:
https://www.dell.com/support/home/ca/en/…-15-5587-laptop

- Link containing Win 10 drivers with PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A370
https://www.dell.com/support/home/ca/en/…-15-5587-laptop

I updated the Netwtw08.INF file to allow Win 7 installation, the device is installed but fails with:

Also, I found a page with all driver versions.

Since I am just a noob,
Could an expert take a look at this?

Thank you very much!

Aside from the WIFi adapter, does Windows 7 work decently on that machine? Considering downgrading myself and I have the same model. Mostly concerned about switching GPU and Thunderbolt 3. TIA.

Hi @anx

After a lot of effort, it mostly works well. Windows 7 itself, is blisteringly fast.
I used Macrium Reflect Rescue USB stick (Windows PE 5) to solve many of the driver problems.
Just scan the rescue media for most of the drivers. They mostly match.
I used the USB and GPU drivers from this site. They work very well.

Make sure to upgrade the SSD firmware and Bios while still on Win 10. The installers don’t work on Win 7.

What still doesn’t work:
- WiFi
- Bluetooth
- Audio jack does not recognize devices. So headsets on jack port don’t work. USB headsets work perfectly. System Audio also works.

- I disabled Windows Hibernate functionality because my computer uses an SSD and the manufacturer (not Samsung) does not provide drivers for it.
- On rare occasions, the system (mouse, keyboard, screen…) freezes when recovering from Sleep. Also on rare occasions I get a Blue Screen error. I did not have time to investigate these, so I don’t know if it’s driver related or not.

Good luck!

@mosu_d I’ve installed Windows 7 on the machine myself.

By using @canonkong 's drivers for UHD 630, I have very few issues with sleep and hibernate. Hibernation reliably works, sleep sometimes messes up but usually works fine too.

I used the Snappy Driver Installer tool to install many of the drivers. My audio jack works but I don’t think there’s any hope for MaxxAudio.

You don’t need a special driver for the SSD, Windows 7 will work with it just fine. Mine in particular is a different model compared to the usually offered SSDs and doesn’t have a firmware update yet.

I did the BIOS in Windows 10 before installing 7.

For the Wi-Fi and bluetooth I replaced the internal card with a 7265 AC that works just fine. I’ve so far not gotten any Blue screens or freezes. But I should add my 7 install was updated to 2018.
Thanks for your input.

I did register, just to come and say thank you!! I spent hours on this, and your drivers have been an absolute life-saver!
Just can’t thank you enough. Without your usb drivers I would still be looking at the windows install screen with tears in my eyes. You are hero of the century! Love the site too

Thanks
