As the title states, I have a modded BIOS for my HP Victus 15-fb0102la (which was modded using UBU 1.8_b1), the laptop has a Ryzen 5 5600H and the latest BIOS update from HP has the microcode revision A500011, whereas the latest according to the CPUMicrocodes repo is A500014.
CPU is a Ryzen 5 5600H, CPUID 00A50F000.

Modded BIOS:
The flashed image was “HPVictus15_modded.bin” from this Google Drive zip file, I zipped them earlier for other people to check out but I ended up flashing the modded BIOS anyway.
Now, what happens when trying to boot up with the modded BIOS? it pretty much doesn’t POST but it doesn’t shut down either, charger light turns on, power LED turns on, fans also turn on but after a second they shut off, while the power LED and charger light stay on and it doesn’t do anything else.
Considering that the power LED and charger light works, I’d say that means that the EC is completely fine and that the CPU seems to be rejecting the microcode, maybe the SMU or the PSP? not sure which or what exactly it could be.
I tried looking for laptops with the same CPU as mine so that maybe I could try extracting the SMU from them and with the extracted SMU, update my laptop’s, but out of the laptops I looked at so far, (ASUS TUF Gaming A15 2021, Dell G15 5515), they’re running the same microcode revision, A50000C from December 2020.
Does anyone have any ideas?
