maybe your me version not downgrade, check it at advanced BIOS interface (F7 key).
Yeah was that, thank you for the tip! I solved flashing the bios using a raspberry
@mini-stx - that error not in db was due to I had old version when I grabbed that image, checked with latest and itâs in db now
Thanks, with asrock B150M-HDV\D3+i3-8100+DDR3 works great.
@revlaay Which executable specifically patches CpuMpPei? I had manually updated GOP/Vbios, inserted the microcodes I needed, and changed the sku to Z370. Therefore, for your tool, I ran my bios through 3pcie-patch (did nothingâbut gpu works so probably donât need this), 7ACPIFix (helped my power delivery BSOD issues), and 7HTfix (exe returned that I did not need this).
Is CpuMpPei part of 7ACPIFix or 5cpu-patch? Would it make sense that CpuMpPei not patched would not allow OC settings in BIOS to apply to all 6 cores?
Also, anything any here could explain my SATA HDD not working? (But my m2 sata ssd works just fine)?
Thanks for the easy to use tool!
please provide your MB name and bios version.
this tool not include OC (all core) patch.
Hi @revlaay
im noob and maybe my question is it stupid, but i double click on AllinOne.exe and a cmd quickly showed and disapper!
drag and drop STRIX-H270I-GAMING-ASUS-0210.CAP to it dosent make any sense
my motherboard is ASUS H270i on bios version 0210 x64 (here bios download page : https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-STâŚ/HelpDesk_BIOS/)
ME firmware version 11.6.0.1126
can you mod my bios or help me to do this?
thanks
I wanna run i3 8100 on my Asrock h110m-hdv r3.0, so what i need to do is just download the tool and run it, reboot window and put i3 8100 into the mainboard, right ?
And is the G4560 still work on this mainboard ?
@fock1338s - yes and maybe. Check BIOS once itâs done with MC Extractor and be sure CPU Microcode 906E9 is still present, drag and drop modified BIOS onto MCE.exe
https://github.com/platomav/MCExtractor - downloads in the âreleasesâ tab, you want first one that says MC Extractor not just DB
@fock1338s your G4560 is 7th core processor and 8100 is 8th B0 ,so you should choose proper option in "Ready to Insert CPU MicroCodeâŚ" step.
does this mean i did it correctly? i can now flash and put in a coffee lake cpu?
8th series yes, 9th series no.
thanks for the reply
put it on usb went to flash and i get the errror
secure flash check error
asrock h270 performance
awesome figured it out
thanks alot for the allinone program
just a question
will this enable us to BCKL overclock on non Z boards
@imbatman use ubu to remove asrock secure protection , save as new file (use same subfix as asrock) , put it on usb drive and use instant flash.
no
PS: dont flash SKU370 file on asrock 200 series board, some people tell me wonât boot.
Thanks for the reply
Successful updated the bios
Whatâs the difference between sku370 and the other file?
SKU370 for full 8th gen cpu support, the other only support B0 step cpu (8100,8300,8350k,g5600,g5500,g4900)
Please help! Will there be a tutorial on youtube ? I am completely ignorant of using this tool.
Hi! please help me! followed all steps and successfully mod bios. but it works with Vcore too Higher 1.472 and high temps. When I Stress CPU temps are very high! Tried with older Bios versions and the results are the same. Also tried with ASUS h110m-e/m.2 and same results. AM I doing something wrong? image
