[TOOL] Easy automated Mod tool for Coffee Lake bios

@sciwander
Not sure if it is a safest way to do but I managed to do it anyway.
Here it is. Flash-any-most-Asus-motherboard-Bios-in-DOS-with-USB-tutorial-Intel-AMD-roll-back

Just confirming here, I should be able to use this tool to mod my MSI z170 Mortar (MS-7972) to accept a i7-9700K? IS that all that is required, or do I have to alter anything physically on the CPU? Thanks.

This model may prompt bios damage after reboot, but i have no experience.

You can use intel FLASH program tool to do that, download it form here Intel Management Engine: Drivers, Firmware & System Tools ,(C2 section:Intel CSME System Tools v11),run command like
"fptw -f youbiosfile".

You must use correct version(for 100/200/Z370/H310C/B365/X299/C400/C620-series systems which run CSME v11).

both works (option 2 also include b0 support).

Hi.
Does I3 9100f need to mod pin or just plug in and use like I3 8100? Because I see it belong to U0 which need to mod pin.

Greetings. I just registered today and I wanted to ask for assistance regarding this tool. My board is Maximus IX Hero and I have an i9-9900K CPU. I used the latest version of this tool (v20190618) on my boardā€™s latest (v1301) bios file, but Iā€™m getting an error when itā€™s inserting CPU MicroCode.

Depends on your 9100F version,U0 need.

@Bizarreļæ½
I tested it, no problem, if you still have this problem you can add microcode by mmtool .

Thanks, I did a little research and have this conclusion:
I3 9100F has 2 specs:
SRF7W = B0 (no pin mod)
SRF6N = U0 (must pin mod)
