i Know. but the AFUDOS tool flashed bios without error messages like blocked uefi. maybe this [GUIDE] Grub Fix Intel FPT Error 280 or 368 - BIOS Lock Asus/Other Mod BIOS Flash solve the problem? i will post any update. thanks

AFUDOS should not report blocks. It just writes the parts that are accessible.

Hi. i tried to flash the Asus z270-k with FPT, Afuwin, realtek audio chip shortcircuit and modify the flash descriptor from GRUB without sucess (error 368 from fpt in all case). i decided to stop waste time and bought a ch341a programer and it works! first i flashed the biosmod from coffeetime but at second reboot i got problems after the post (irq error or page fault exception) so i flashed again with modified bios from AIO tool and seems to be good for now.

Edit: a blue screen appeared with error “irq less or not equal” or “page fault exception” when loading windows 10. The problem seems to be a memory module of 8gb 2666mhs crucial ballistix by micron. I removed this and solved. Tested playing battlefield v for 3 hours. so then i flashed modified bios with coffeetime failed because i didn’t verified memory compatibiliti probably.

so this was my experience.
i just have take intesive bios flashing lessons accidentaly thanks to this.

My experience with audio mod were also mixed. On ALC 800 series with QFP package and contacts on the side I got 50:50 quota. But ALC 1150 with leadless package I didn’t succeed at all.

Awesome job! Was wondering though what Vcore you set in bios to get 1.344v according to CPU-Z? Do you notice any discrepencies from what you set and what you get?

My 9700K will say I got 1.280 if I set 1.325v. So thinking going to have to experiment with voltage levels against stability testing because I have no idea whats my real vcore.

in the vrm power options i’m select the level 4 for cpu vcore variation (in tweaker’s paradise) i’m set the vcore @1.36v but the real vcore is 1.344v :slight_smile:
I can take screenshots in my bios :wink:


Can you post/share your modded BIOS please? IGNORE: Its so easy with this tool! Now to work out how to flash and do all the SPI stuff

    If you want disable HT function by default, drag bios on “x.DisableHT.exe”.

I see one problem - a lot of antivirus programs identify 2Gop-vbios.exe as containing trojan. Here is screenshot from virustotal

happens after updating the 2019.311 version with updated files from .618 archive. 2019.311 is working without problem.

edit: another working b0 coffe lake on z270 maximus ix hero board. need to figure out why igpu is not working…
