Windows10 microcode loaded mismatch with bios

Hi
why windows loads its own microcode ver714 for 3930k cpu but the bios reports ver710.
It means that performance is slow but InSpectre shows performance is good when I disable both options

The microcode is loaded in several stages, first, the one in the BIOS is loaded, and then Windows loads a more recent one from C:\Windows\System32\mcupdate_GenuineIntel.dll if available.

Yes but if windows loads most recent one then isn’t performance suppose to be reported as slow even if I disable both meltdown and spectre…

InSpectre shows performance good… means windows using bios microcode.?

There were mitigations to reduce performance impact like retpoline.

Thanks guys …
So any software to check if bios microcode is meltdown spectre enabled or disabled?

According to InSpectre:
System is Meltdown protected: NO!
System is Spectre protected: NO!
Microcode Update Available: YES

according to above, the bios microcode is not enabled it seems…

206D7 (socket 2011)

MS updates were according to Windoes version (unclear if installed automatically):

.

Testing:

(No further information about board/ windows revision given)

I went through those links, needed to know if bios microcode and the windows injected one are mismatching then its mean the protections are disabled already?

No.

You got the link to the official tool to check which protections are enabled / disabled in Windows- just use it?
