[OFFER] Asus P8H67 B3 REV NVMe-Mod

Short and easy: This is how you get the full NVMe-support (especially booting OS) for your Asus P8H67 B3 REV.

The tested PCIe-SSD is the Samsung 960EVO M2-SSD.
Due to the lack of a M.2-SLot I had to buy a Asus Hyper M.2 X4 Mini Mainboard as well.

I followed the [Guide] How to get full NVMe support for all Systems with an AMI UEFI BIOS till step 4.

After step “3. Insertion of the NVMe module” before saving I got a:

1

parseBios: one of volumes inside overlaps the end of data

But you may ignore that, because it's an error from Asus themselfs and does not affect the mod or the bios at all.

But instead of doing the flash myself (step 5) I've ordered two bios-chips and asked the shop two flash one chip with the bios original bios and one with the modified one. The original chip was just a precaution in case i wreck the old one on the board while replacing the new one and the new one with the mod doesn't work.

I didn't read step 6 and just installed Windows 10 on my Samsung 960EVO M2-SSD like on any "normal" drive ;-).

There are some reports that you can not use the Intel Raid from the board and the NVMe-SSD at the same time. In my case it works flawlessly all together.

The used original bios can be found here.
The tool I used for the mod is the CodeRush's UEFITool v0.21.5.
The NVMe-module is the NvmExpressDxE_2.ffs.
The modified BIOS can be found here.
