According to DUMO ; we should go from 11.7.0.1057 to version 1803.12.0.1093 .
Is this true , or should we ignore this update ( ??)
DUMo is right. If you want the latest version, you should first install the
"Intel MEI Driver v11.7.0.1065 MEI-Only Installer"
that you can find here, and then go to this website
http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=PCI\VEN_8086%26DEV_A13A
pick your version of windows 10, and do a manual installation of the Intel ME from device manager.
Then, you will have the version 1803.12.0.1093 installed.
(only for certain chipsets, check the .inf file for your DeviceID, you can find your DeviceID in the Device Manager)
11.7.0.1057 already installed , can not find Intel MEI Driver v11.7.0.1065 MEI-Only Installer , on the win cat. …??
sorry , asked this before in this forum , Fernando said ; " If you do a look into the related INF files, you will realize, that systems with a Haswell CPU are not supported by the Intel MEI driver v1803.12.0.1093. "…
So , problem solved , seems latest Intel MEI already installed on my system ( Win10 x64,ASUS Z97-K mobo, Haswell )
Wonder why DUMO keeps pushing me to v1803…
@Fernando
Can you confirm if the INTEL MEI driver v1803.12.0.1093 is the latest version for Haswell AND HaswellE chipsets?
According to DUMo, this update is valid for us. But, we want to make sure.
This driver is dated 01/16/2018 and supports the following “Intel(R) Management Engine Interface” device models:

My DeviceID is
It’s not listed in the .inf file so I have reason to believe that DUMo is wrong in suggesting the v1803.12.0.1093 is the most recent.
So… don’t manually update to v1803.12.0.93 unless if your DeviceID is inside the .inf file!
Will not update , other DeviceID…!
