Windows Rebooting Loop BSOD 7B A5 - Disable automatic restart on system failure - 2000 XP 2003 Troubleshooting Tip!

To show the Error Code you are experiencing with the constant reboot and freeze it on the screen follow these steps.

On the rebooting of the machine the Boot Screen OS Menu shows

Please select the operating system to start:

This will show up briefly between 3 to 30 seconds depending if you’ve altered the BOOT.INI file

Hit F8 here once you see it.

A new screen will appear:

Windows Advanced Options Menu
Please select an option:

Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt

Enable Boot Login
Enable VGA Mode
Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked)
Directory Services Restore Mode (Windows domain controllers only)
Debugging Mode
Disable automatic restart on system failure <— SELECT THIS ONE and hit ENTER

Start Windows Normally
Reboot
Return to OS Choices Menu


Use the up and down arrow keys on the keyboard to move the highlighted selection.

After hitting ENTER on "Disable automatic restart on system failure"
You will return back to the Boot Screen OS Menu

Please select the operating system to start:

Select the operating system and hit ENTER and it will boot into the OS.
This time if it experiences an error it will freeze the screen with the error code instead of rebooting.
